Blumenthal & Mihm video shows us being faster than a speeding bullet

Category: Google Places (Maps & Local) – Mike Blumenthal – 10:01 am

David and I have been immortalized in Brian Carter’s newest video: Local Search Rock Stars Mihm & Blumenthal Doing Some Local Parkouring. According to Brian:

In my opinion the biggest two rock stars in the “local search” space are David Mihm and Mike Blumenthal, exemplified in their separate analyses of local search ranking factors. Check them out in this video teaming up to do some local buildering and building-jumping.

Big vacab day for me…My daughter noted that I looked “good” in a wife beater and I even learned what Parkour is…

Please consider leaving a comment as your input will help me (& everyone else) better understand and learn about local.

  1. Gentlemen…I’m trying to think of the right response. It’s sort of like street view taken to a new, and very weird, level. Perhaps you could interest Google in this feature?

Seriously, Liam and I are both laughing. That’s really funny.

And, we second Brian Carter in his praise, though he has a somewhat alarming way of showing his admiration :)

  3. That was friggin great. I would like to do that next time I am in court . . . by mistake. Jurors want entertainment more that evidence. That may just do the trick!

  5. @Miriam – I am not sure that there is an appropriate response :)

@ Tim – parkour – An athletic discipline in which practitioners, known as traceurs, traverse any environment in the most efficient way possible using their physical abilities, and which commonly involves running, jumping, vaulting, rolling and other similar physical movements.

@Sean – all the thanks go to Brian Carter for this incredible piece of work. :)
