Local University Spring 2012 Series – Open For Business
The staff at Local U have been hard at work putting together the Spring conference schedule for Local University. We are particularly excited to announce the first Advanced workshop for SEO professionals and experienced local search marketers that will take place in Seattle on June 7. Never before have so many Local Search experts been in one room at the same time, and it’ll be a great opportunity to pick all of our collective brains to get a leg up on your competition.

We have never done one before so we don’t really know but so far we have received a lot of interest.

big #Kudos here Mike to you and the rest of the LocalU mentors! been to two before – Cleveland and Ellicotville and if I can “swing” Syracuse, I’ll see you again! Will miss the chance to have another great meal at your house…where as I remember, you’re SO SO into “local” that the table was loaded with items from your own garden! So hopefully, see you soon, Mike! 🙂

Looking forward to another get together. Nothing beats home canned veggies in the winter and locally raised meats. I am fortunate that I am able to eat like a king.
Mike, We hoped you would be coming to Boston! Since you are not, we are excited and plan to attend Local University Syracuse. Can you recommend a hotel?

We had hoped to be in the Connecticut and NYC areas but that won’t be anytime soon. The issue for us is finding a partner on the ground that is interested bringing in the small businesses to the seminar. We have a great partner in Syracuse and they are doing a bang up job… hopefully someday we will be further east but not yet.
I live 3.5 hours from Syracuse. So I don’t really know yet. Here are some that are close to the venue. Let me check to see if there is a hotel that is offering special rates.
Thanks for checking on hotel Mike. No worries about Boston. It gives us a great excuse to come to Syracuse. We are now registered and excited to be attending.
I’m hoping to make it to Seattle – seeing if I can do the whole conference or just the Local U portion. It’ll be great to see everyone in Edmonton, though!
