Google Closes European Places Support Forums
Today, Google announce the closing of foreign language forums for Google Places as of May 13th. It is not clear if language specific support will be available via email. The announcements can be seen in these various forums:

Wow, that’s a little shocking the message is stark – go away we only talk to people who speak English.
Do Google have something better to offer or is it another case of Google being ‘trop grand pour ses bottes’?

Great question. We don’t really know yet… we have heard rumors but nothing firm.
This is lunacy. Reminds me of the scene in Cuckoo’s Nest when Nurse Ratched wouldn’t let the guys turn on the TV for the World Series.
How much can it cost to retain 2-3 people in each those countries…
