pavillion stage are listed below. Leading the jamming tent will be:  
Saturday June 10 - Thomas Hodgson (guitar), Rick Manning (fiddle,  
mandolin), Bill Gregg (fiddle), Kathy Shimberg (fiddle, guitar banjo)  
Debra Chesman (washtub bass) and maybe Gary Kline (guitar, banjo)     
Sunday June 11- Joe Crookston (fiddle, guitar, banjo), Judy Genova  
(fiddle), Tom Fay (fiddle), Steve Selin - (fiddle banjo) Gary Kline  
(guitar and banjo), Debra Chesman (washtub bass) and maybe Gary  
Kline.  People are welcome to bring old-time instruments and songs to  
join us for the afternoon or in between performer sets or to listen.

my message. Below is the information I got from Peter Vooheis at the  
Arts Council.

Old-Time Fiddlers Gathering Info
June 10th & 11th, 1-9 pm Sat., 1-5 pm Sunday
Hour-long performances with half-hour breaks

Musicians of any level skill encouraged to bring their instruments  
for jamming

Old-time country dance with Pat Kane, Saturday 7-9 pm . <It is a  
treat to have Pat Kane call and teach the dances with a portable mic  
he wears while he fiddles up a storm. Although mostly known for his  
Irish music, Pat is a wonderful old-time fiddler, too! Bring the  
whole family.-Deb>

Take South entrance into park, accessed by route 329 (Old Corning Rd)  
which is just south of the main entrance to the park on Franklin  
Street, the main street of Watkins Glen. Go up hill on 329, bear  
right into south entrance, pass Seneca Lodge. Once in park, go  
straight about 150 yards, bear left at pavilion. Go straight up hill,  
past camping office, through wooden gates and up hill a few hundred  
feet. Recreation building is on left.

Good idea to bring lawn chairs

Food concession on site, simple hamburg/hotdog fare. Several  
restaurants in Watkins Glen, a mile or so away.

No admission to event, but park admission is $6 per carload.

<I did call the Watkins Glen State park to find out about  
camping.during the festival weekend. I was told it will be $20 per  
night for the weekend nights, although I don't know if that means per  
person or per campsite. -Deb>
