The most <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=390f6aa67a2c4874&#038;hl=en\">recent<\/a> was at 9:39 AM. Google has yet to make a public statement about the error. Obviously, the two beers I suggested yesterday was not enough, or perhaps not enough folks with the problem followed the suggestion. I am upping the ante to 4 beers. (However any errors in judgement this might cause are solely the responsibility of the user).<\/p>\n<p>There <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=0eea48eb1fccfc4e&amp;hl=en\">have<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=11d6a8e4a39d835b&amp;hl=en\">been<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=6d00f71f7d080269&amp;hl=en\">numerous<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=7cb027fb4ae6dea0&amp;hl=en\">reports<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=636825f7a3ca9e2f&amp;hl=en\">forum<\/a> this afternoon of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/forum\/p\/Places\/thread?tid=3166adab79772bca&amp;hl=en\">message<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">System Error<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re sorry, but we are unable to serve your request at this time.<br \/>\nPlease try back in a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Google has not used this message as a spam response in quite a long time, so the presumption is that the System is down.
