It is being widely characterized as a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomshardware.com\/news\/steve-jobs-rant-hate-android,11488.html\">rant<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/brianshall.com\/content\/smartphone-quote-day-integrated-versus-fragmented\">blistering<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/bits.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/10\/18\/steve-jobs-our-approach-is-better-than-googles\/?ref=technology\">impassioned attack<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/searchengineland.com\/apple-google-and-steve-jobs-earnings-call-trash-talk-53257\">trash talk<\/a>) across the internet. I found it to be both a well reasoned and convincing articulation of Apple&#8217;s and Job&#8217;s <strong>point of view<\/strong>. Not necessarily correct, not necessarily a winning strategy but well articulated and not in the rant mode.
