Google Maps <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=san%20buenaventura%20ca%20&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=utf-8&amp;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:unofficial&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;um=1&amp;sa=N&amp;tab=wl\">correctly substitutes<\/a> the name of Ventura for San Buenaventura but Yahoo Local seems a tad confused by the use of the name <em>San Buenaventura<\/em> in a local search query.<\/p>\n<p>For example if you search on <a href=\"http:\/\/local.yahoo.com\/results?p=restaurant&amp;csz=San+Buenaventura%2C+CA\">Florist+San Buenaventura Ca<\/a>, it maps the location to just west of the Congo, smack dab in the South Atlantic Ocean about 750 to the west of the African coast, some 6000 or so miles away.<\/p>\n<p>Equally interesting is that the search  <a href=\"http:\/\/local.yahoo.com\/results?p=florist&amp;csz=San+Buenaventura%2C+CA\">Florist+San Buenaventura Ca<\/a> apparently returns every florist  in the United States, all 61,035 of them.<\/p>\n<p>Until this bug is fixed the search can provide approximate numbers of total Yahoo listings for any industry. On the search <a href=\"http:\/\/local.yahoo.com\/results?p=restaurants&amp;csz=San+Buenaventura%2C+CA\">Restaurants + San Buenaventura, CA<\/a>, Yahoo Local returns 747,782 listings and the number one restaurant is<a href=\"http:\/\/local.yahoo.com\/details?id=17441501&amp;lsrc=results&amp;p=restaurants&amp;csz=San+Buenaventura%2C+CA&amp;fr=&amp;lcscb=38ovtXJimgI\" title=\"17441501\" class=\"fn org\" name=\"17441501\"> Giordanos Pizzeria<\/a> in Chicago.
