Hopefully this will satisfy Steve&#8217;s desire to characterize the issues fairly.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/revisedmarketshare2.jpg\" alt=\"revisedmarketshare2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The outcome:<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Yahoo is still down roughly 7% for the year<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2Google has increased their market share by almost 100% and has managed to pass Yahoo with their January 10 Pack upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>If you add MSN Live Local share to Yahoo in the event of a merger they would have greater market share than Google Maps.
