There is a different style presented for <a href=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/2019\/06\/06\/local-scroll-pack-spotted-on-retail-restaurants-professional-service-searches\/\">retail\/restaurants<\/a> than for <a href=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/2019\/06\/01\/google-showing-new-local-scroll-pak\/\">service business<\/a>. Brand packs have a slight variation as well.<\/p>\n<p>In the brand results, there is the card style scroll pack below the ability to follow or learn more about the brand. However when one of the query suggestions is selected then the photo style result is presented. The net result of this proximity is that the user is immediately presented with competing alternatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It is interesting the obvious and highly visible call to action to &#8220;follow&#8221; the brand.<\/p>\n<p>This is the view of this new look when a multi-location brand is queried:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/scroll-pak-brand-576x1024.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22044\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/scroll-pak-brand-576x1024.gif 576w, https:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/scroll-pak-brand-112x200.gif 112w, https:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/scroll-pak-brand-337x600.gif 337w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is interesting that this new Brand Scroll Pack is being displayed and obviously tested simultaneously with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.localsearchforum.com\/threads\/new-layout-on-mobile-for-branded-searches.54393\/\">segmented display <\/a>that splits the results of a typical, single location brand search into multiple segments in the results.
