The offender has 13 words (96 characters)<sup>1<\/sup> in his business title and somewhere north of 20 fake reviews.<\/p>\n<p>I discovered the listing via my <a href=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/2017\/04\/17\/the-largest-review-spam-network-ever-or-who-is-shazedur-rahman-and-why-should-you-care\/\">on-going review spam research<\/a> and I loved his name so much that I had to give him this week&#8217;s award. Let me know if you agree.<\/p>\n<p>With a name like &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=head+shots+los+angeles&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8#q=Photo+Experts+los+angeles\">Photo Experts, Los Angeles Headshots Photographer Scanning Lab, UPS Shipping, Notary, Money Order<\/a>&#8220;, how could you NOT do business with them?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Screenshot-2017-05-02-17.16.42.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20619\" src=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Screenshot-2017-05-02-17.16.42.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"612\" height=\"712\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Screenshot-2017-05-02-17.16.42.png 612w, https:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Screenshot-2017-05-02-17.16.42-172x200.png 172w, https:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Screenshot-2017-05-02-17.16.42-516x600.png 516w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And their incredible review profile, seals the deal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Many of the reviewers fit the <a href=\"http:\/\/blumenthals.com\/blog\/2017\/04\/17\/the-largest-review-spam-network-ever-or-who-is-shazedur-rahman-and-why-should-you-care\/\">clear pattern<\/a> that I identified in my review spam article. If it isn&#8217;t obvious, Google didn&#8217;t dig very deep with the data that I originally provided them<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/contrib\/112660286380746341928\/reviews\/@45.5578118,-132.9657213,3z\">Andy B. Brian<\/a> is among them. Sheesh&#8230; you folks are falling down on the job. <\/sup><\/p>\n<p><sup>2<\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 12px; vertical-align: super;\">&#8211; It&#8217;s amazing how trusting and\u00a0naive that I am. Having given Google 100 obvious spammers, with an easily coded rule to find more of them, I just assumed that they would spend a few minutes, write the code and zap 20,000 reviews. Although I was hoping that the number might be as high as 100,00. Heck I had done the hard lifting. Boy am I gullible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><sup>You would think that I would have learned by now. I remember, I think it was 2008, when the then head of Google Maps told me that they had left the spam in so that they could &#8220;train their system&#8221; who the bad actors were and that soon (very soon) they would have a handle on it.
