Like all corporations, Google needs to respond to the demands of a market that requires ever increasing income growth. One way to do that in the absence of significant page view growth is to monetize every remaining square inch of Google.<\/p>\n<p>That seems to be whats happening in Maps where <a href=\"http:\/\/alisanne.com\/\">Laura Alisanne<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/?photo_id=1#!\/LRAlisanne\/status\/137335721806667777\/photo\/1\">points<\/a> out that Google is now placing ads on the <strong>info bubble<\/strong> for a given business. This ad, from a competitor, shows on the <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=Hartstone+Inn+and+restaurant+camden+me&amp;hl=en&amp;ll=44.214079,-69.063964&amp;spn=0.018271,0.018969&amp;geocode=+&amp;hq=Hartstone+Inn+and+restaurant+camden+me&amp;t=m&amp;vpsrc=0&amp;z=15&amp;iwloc=A\">branded search<\/a> for the Hartstone Inn &amp; Restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Next on the &#8220;Ad in every square inch&#8221; agenda?
