Robin and Linda Williams and Their Fine Group will perform on Friday,
November 3, 7:30 p.m., at the First Unitarian Church, 220 Winton Road
South, Rochester, 14610. The concert is presented by the Golden Link
Folk Singing Society. Admission is $18; children 12 and under will be

For three decades now, Robin & Linda Williams have performed the music
that they love, a robust blend of bluegrass, folk, old-time and
acoustic country. As live performers they are second to none. Their
stirring concerts have earned them a huge body of fans over the years.
The list of artists who have covered their original songs include some
of the greats of country music, names like Emmylou Harris, Tom T. Hall,
Tim & Mollie O'Brien, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and The Seldom Scene.

The Virginia-based duo will be joined on stage by Jim Watson (formerly
of the Red Clay Ramblers) on bass and his distinctive harmony vocals,
and Tony Williamson on mandolin.

Regulars on Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” for many
years, they also appeared in the 2006 movie about the show. Robin and
Linda have appeared on The Grand Ole Opry, "Austin City Limits,"
American "Mountain Stage," and "Music City Tonight.”
