John McCutcheon is a six-time Grammy nominee with twenty-nine albums
to his credit, but it is in his live performance that he really
shines. His concerts have been called “little feats of magic” by one
reviewer, and his songwriting has been hailed by critics. He is a
master instrumentalist, accompanying himself on a half-dozen
different instruments during a single performance. His storytelling
has been compared to Will Rogers and Garrison Keillor.

No stranger to Rochester, John returns on March 31st for an encore
performance (his last two performances sold-out).

“John is one of our greatest songwriters, musicians and song leaders.
And not just incidentally, he is dedicated to organizing and moving
this world in a better direction.”
                                                  –Pete Seeger

Proceeds from the show go towards renovating the Lower Falls Room and
adding Special Education spaces for The Genesee Community Charter
School, Rochester’s most successful alternative in public education,
located on the campus of Rochester Museum & Science Center at 657
East Avenue.
