MUSIC SCHEDULE:

Saturday Aug 27th 12-5pm
CHURCH STREET BLUES “Bluegrass like you’ve never heard”
From W-PA & E-Ohio, hails an Americana band that just has to be
experienced – live. This acoustic band has fans of many musical
styles such as bluegrass, gospel, folk, oldies, and rock. This has
helped CSB perform with, or open for artist such as Jerry Douglas,
Norman and Nancy Blake, Vassar Clemens and Jessie Dixon. The
musicians of Church Street Blues have found that present-day
audiences literally yearn for music that comes from the heart, played
with skill, & sung with energy. Infused with excellent vocal
abilities, dynamic song-writing, and impassioned instrumentals,
Church Street Blues proudly delivers their unique take on traditional
& contemporary bluegrass, originals, and great gospel.

Sunday Aug 28th
Country Breakfast Sunday Aug 28th 9-noon $5
Sunday Morning 11-12 noon:
SUNDAY MORNING HARMONY
This new old-time country gospel group will get your Sunday off to a
great start. You'll be singing along to many of the old gospels
you've know all your life.

THE DOERFEL FAMILY BAND
12-5 pm Doerfel Family Band http://www.doerfelfamily.com/
This large family (9 kids and one on the way) is from Springville,
NY. All of the kids join mom & dad for the most entertaining and
unique Bluegrass Family Show to come along in years. They have
performed all over New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania this year at
Bluegrass Festivals. They travel to Florida each winter and perform
the Southern Bluegrass Circuit. Bring the kids for this show and
enjoy an afternoon with the Doerfel Family, you will be surprised,
amazed and delighted!

TuneScape http://tunescape.org A hot, new local Contra Dance band
from Bradford that has already performed in Fredonia, Buffalo,
Rochester, Syracuse and Ithaca. Fiddler John Siepierski's (age 14)
powerful fiddle style is fresh and exiting; a recent description of
his playing on the Rochester Country Dance Website http://www.ggw.org/
~cdr/contras.html described John's playing as "Teen Thunder". Don't
miss this rising star, you can say "I saw him when..." John is
joined by Jodi Blumenthal. Jodi's textured backup style perfectly
compliments John's driving fiddle tunes.

Additional Saturday and Sunday performances in the main tent and
around the fair grounds:

Curt Osgood, Binghamton, NY http://curtosgood.com/ is a hammered
dulcimer artist. Curt has been pleasing audiences with his dulcimer
artistry for over twenty years, both as a solo and ensemble
performer. Curt will be returning this year to the Crook Farm and
will be performing all weekend around the Fair. The hammered
dulcimer, a member of the zither family, is different from the
Appalachian or fretted dulcimer in that the strings of the hammered
dulcimer are tapped with little mallets or hammers rather than
strummed. Its harp-like sound can invoke numerous musical textures.
Curt will be roaming the festival inviting everyone to listen, ask
questions and enjoy the unique sounds of his hammered dulcimer.

Kate & Andrew Scanlan, Local Irish Step Dance Wizards. These kids
will thrill & amaze you!
