Google Menu Test?

Category: Google Places (Maps & Local) – Mike Blumenthal – 4:59 pm

I haven’t been following Google tests other than in local but this new black menu appears in everything BUT Maps, News and Gmail:

Please consider leaving a comment as your input will help me (& everyone else) better understand and learn about local.

  1. Maybe they’ve identified you as black hat ;)

    Just kidding.

I’m not seeing this test – interesting change though.

  2. Mike, try to login into plus.google.com and you will get black menu as well. Maybe this is the reason for the strange interface.

“In the new black navigation bar that began showing up for some people this week, there’s a “Share” area to the right side. That bar, by the way, has been dubbed the “One Google” bar, Google told me. No matter where you are on Google, you’ll have the ability to share something out to Google Plus.”

I think that this is the answer ;)
