Just got off the line with Google. In the interview I posted they note that the nationwide rollout was a quirk and has been rolled back to just the cities that Greg mentions.

Meanwhile Danny Sullivan had a great line in twitter about this program: Just sign up and Google will do all the work.

I wonder what he meant? Did he mean that Google will do all the work to get your money spent…or perhaps that these Google ads will bring you customers. :D That last part would be nice.

Greg Sterling reported that Google has been working on a simple to apply adwords product for a long time. Possibly this is it.

Haven’t seen it yet …but from what you are showing it looks like one doesn’t bid on prices for ads.

Well I’m looking forward to seeing this and I feel comfortable based on how Danny Sullivan coined the phrase. ;)
