Did several searched on google local (now google maps, I guess) today and found something interesting. User ratings for most businesses (formerly shown as up to 5 red stars) no longer appear. Refining the search by user rating eliminated most rated businesses. For example, searching on “kitchen remodeling, lincoln, ne” and then “has a rating” eliminated all of the kitchen remodeling companies and displayed only apartment houses, hotels/models, and one restaurant.
Does anyone know what’s going on with this?
