having looked at both an existing business with tons of traffic and a new business with lesser rankings and far less traffic, I would add the following if one can afford it and make the effort.

1.  get ranking on as many long tail relevant terms as your keyword research suggests.

2.  buy ppc until you get those rankings...and possibly while you have them.

in other words....get found!!!!]]></description>
