[...] •The information about CitySearch might indicated that Google has changed or even dropped their “trusted” source relationship with CitySearch. It was but a year ago that much was made of the CitySearch-Google partnership. I looked at an account/phrase that I track regularly (Restaurants Bradford Pa) and also found that reviews from CitySearch that I had fought with Google very hard to have included are now gone.
[...] Just as important are the things that haven’t been added or changed: 1. The coupons have not yet been rescured from obscurity and placed on the front page 2. Click to Call did not claim a place in the OneBox 3.While the highlighting of reviews may be more agressive, Google is still not updating reviews very frequently. This seems problematic. « When does the future happen [...]

Hi Markus

Yes it is bizarre to say the least, isn't it.

Is it a technology problem...from the world's leading technology company?

Is it a copyright problem? What they don't have enough $ to pay for it?

Is it a staff or development issue?

In this particular case, the reviews have not been updated for at least 8 months and perhaps longer. It is not clear how that is possible.

If they're going to keep creeping local into normal search (with the new maps and all) they really need to come up with something better than this "we're working on it, expect to see changes who knows when" response they've been giving too all this stuff recently.
